Always look at your ceiling height and purpose of lighting. In a crowded dancefloor with a low ceiling the beams are more important than gabo projections. If your business is going well there is no space to project your gobo's on the floor.

Scanners allow much faster movements than moving heads. Use scanners where the speed of movement is important.

Big lights are used for longer distances. Make sure you use 16bit for the movement to allow correct positioning. If you use only 8 bit the difference between 2 steps can be more than a foot.
